Bilateral military cooperation between the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey is characterized by a high level of mutual understanding and is developing in the areas of military-technical cooperation, military education, conducting joint training and other activities, including assisting in the treatment of Kyrgyz military personnel and their families. In 2018, the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic paid an official visit to Turkey during which meetings with senior military leadership were held, which resulted in signing agreements on various areas of interaction and the visit of the Turkish Defense Minister to Kyrgyzstan.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic awarded the military attache the medal "For the Strengthening of Military Cooperation" for his great contribution to the development of military cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, strengthening cooperation and intensifying cooperation.
