Bishkek, Oct.1, 2019. /Kabar/. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic Rayimberdi Duishenbiev received Ambassador of Qatar to Kyrgyzstan Abdullah Al-Sulaiti, the press service of the General Staff reported.
In the course of the meeting, the sides agreed to prepare a draft Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the Military Field for official signing by heads of defense agencies in order to further create a regulatory and legal framework for cooperation.
The conclusion of the International Agreement will lay the foundation for bilateral relations and allows the armed forces of the two countries to cooperate in various areas of military and military-technical cooperation.
In particular, it is proposed to establish cooperation in such areas as training of military personnel, exchange of experience in combat training, sanatorium treatment of military personnel of Qatar on Issyk-Kul Lake, establishment of joint ventures for the production of military products and other areas of mutual interest.
