Bishkek, March 2, 2018 / Kabar /. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan Raimberdi Duishenbiev met today with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republic Karim Kokrekbayev, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Duishenbiev congratulated Kokrekbaev on his appointment as the ambassador and wished successes in his responsible post. "Good neighborly and fraternal relations have developed between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, having a solid historical basis, common language, faith and culture. Over the years of cooperation, a constructive and confidential dialogue has been established in all spheres of interaction, including the military sphere," Duishenbiev said.
Participants of the meeting discussed the state and prospects of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation, joint operational and combat training activities, as well as training of military personnel in military schools of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
The sides noted the positive dynamics of development of cooperation in issues of mutual interest, and also expressed the intention to further strengthen it.
