Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2019. / Kabar /. Now it’s easier to adopt a child in Kyrgyzstan, Aliza Soltonbekova, deputy minister of labor and social development of the Kyrgyz Republic told reporters.
Speaking at the press conference on Monday she said that there were a lot of complaints, corruption issues or a complex adoption system and now the procedure has been simplified, so the application can be submitted online.
“First of all, need to present the family income, police clearance certificate, poof of employment, a medical certificate, the right to own a dwelling, the availability of livestock, and so on. After one became a potential parent, gets acquainted with the child, the subsequent procedure is reduced to 7 days from 14,” said Soltonbekova.
She further said that bureaucracy and corruption can now be avoided already at the first stage of adoption, and thanks to the Tunduk system, the procedure has become much easier and more automated.
