Bishkek, June 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . Head of the Kyrgyz-Japan Friendship Foundation Tetsuya Asano and Director of the SOS-Cholpon-Ata Children’s Villages Nurbek Bogachiyev signed an Agreement on Cooperation.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the signing of the agreement was held with the assistance of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Japan and the Institute of Japanese Studies at Kyrgyz State University named after Arabaev within the visit of a delegation of Japanese entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan.
Under the signed document, the Friendship Foundation intends to finance the training of students of the institution and send them for internships in Japan.
Sponsors of the Friendship Foundation are the Japanese companies IBS and DM Solutions, which actively promote Kyrgyz honey to the Japanese market, part of the profit from honey sales will be channeled to non-profit projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the end of the event, Japanese souvenirs, stationery, and sweets were handed over to children.
