"Children's caravan of games" kicks off in Kyrgyzstan as part of III WNG

Bishkek, June 4, 2018. / Kabar /. The project “Children's caravan of games” to be launched in Kyrgyzstan, organized as part of the World Nomad Games (WNG), deputy head of the WNG Secretariat Aizhan Abdesova told journalists at Kabar Agency.

She said that the start will be given tomorrow, June 5, in Kant town.

"The project is being implemented jointly with UNICEF, the Ministry of Culture and the Secretariat of the Third World Nomad Games. The purpose of the event is to ensure that in modern times children use not only telephones and the Internet, but we want to revive our culture through games. Our other goal is that parents spend more time with their children," she said.

Abdesova noted that the caravan will be held throughout the country, as part of the Year of Regional Development announced by President of the country.

"The project will be held in 14 cities and 7 oblasts. Out of 52 games we have selected 25. Children aged from 2 to 14 years can participate in the games with their parents," she added.

UNICEF expert on early development of children, professor and academician Taalaybek Umetov said that the project will present games aimed at the mental and physical development of children.
