Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. Torugart and Irkeshtam checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border are closed due to the celebration of Kurman ait from Aug. 22 to 26 inclusively.
The border is temporarily closed at the initiative of the Chinese side, the State Border Service reported.
The border will resume its work on Aug. 27.
There are two functioning checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border – Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhnyi and Torugart-Avtodorozhnyi.
