Bishkek, June 8, 2021. / Kabar /. The Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan commented on the situation with the delay of equipment for the Toktogul HPP at the Chinese-Kazakh border.
The Chinese Embassy said that a couple of months ago, at the request of the Kyrgyz authorities, the Chinese side, having overcome the great difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic, timely delivered equipment for the reconstruction of the Toktogul hydroelectric power station to the Khorgos checkpoint at the Chinese-Kazakh border. Currently, this equipment is at the Khorgos checkpoint, waiting for transportation by the receiving party to the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
“In the development of bilateral relations with Kyrgyzstan, China is always guided by the spirit of good-neighborliness and comprehensive strategic partnership, provides support and assistance to the Kyrgyz side in the socio-economic development and improvement of the well-being of the people of Kyrgyzstan,” the Chinese embassy said.
