China firmly supports Kyrgyzstan's policy to protect its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen said at a scientific and practical conference in Bishkek, dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the People's Republic of China, the Silk Road newspaper reported.
The ambassador noted that there are no unresolved political issues between Kyrgyzstan and China.
"The two countries support each other on key issues affecting the indigenous interests of the two countries. China firmly supports Kyrgyzstan in choosing its own development path. It supports Kyrgyzstan's policy to protect its independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and constantly provides assistance," Du Dewen said.
The National Library named after Osmonov in Bishkek hosted on Tuesday the scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China was held.
The event was attended by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, rectors of leading universities of the country and political scientists.
