China is ready to strengthen cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in phytosanitary and veterinary field

Bishkek, March 14 / Kabar /. Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security under the Government of Kyrgyzstan Kalysbek Zhumakanov and Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic Erkinbek Choduyev met in Beijing with Sun Dawei, Deputy Director of the Directorate for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that, during the meeting the sides noted the need to increase the export of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan to China. Zhumakanov expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in export of meat products, dairy products, honey and other products to China. Sun Dawei expressed readiness of the Chinese side to make efforts to jointly promote and strengthen bilateral cooperation in phytosanitary and veterinary sphere.

In addition, on March 14 this year the Kyrgyz delegation met with the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of China.
