China, Turkey and Belarus to provide Kyrgyzstan with rapid tests

Bishkek, Apr.5, 2020. /Kabar/. The issue of rapid tests to determine the presence of COVID-19 coronavirus infection has been resolved, Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sabirzhan Abdikarimov told at a news briefing.

"The aid from China will arrive at 2:00 p.m. today. They have sent us 84 kits of express tests. Besides on Apr. 6, 350 sets will arrive from Turkey and 90 sets from Belarus. The issue with the test systems has been resolved. The day before we brought five kits of rapid tests. One kit of such a tests allows to do 220 analysis. All of them were handed over to the laboratory," said the minister.

Today the number of cases of COVID-19 infection in Kyrgyzstan has increased to 147. Nine people have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. One patient with coronavirus died.
