Bishkek, May 16, 2023. /Kabar/. A Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed in Bishkek between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Eurasia Industry Company (Liaoning).
The Memorandum was signed by Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev and member of the Board of Directors of Eurasia Industry Jiang Yuxiang.
The Memorandum provides for mutual interest in exploring the possibility of building a plant for assembling cars using new energy sources (electric vehicles) in the territory of Kyrgyzstan, including the creation of an appropriate infrastructure for servicing electric vehicles in the country with service centers for electric vehicles, charging stations and battery replacement stations for electric vehicles.
As part of this Memorandum, Eurasia Industry (Liaoning) plans to invest in the construction of an electric vehicle assembly plant in Bishkek, where the amount of investments will be USD 150 million.
The plant is expected to create 500 new jobs.
The planned production capacity will be 5000 electric vehicles per year.
