A familiarization tour was organized to Ken-Bulun village, Ysyk-Ata regiion of Chuy oblast, in the framework of the official visit of the delegation of the People’s Republic of China headed by Vice Chairman of the People’s Political Consultative Conference of China (in the rank of Deputy Speaker), Chairman of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the PRC Mr. Bateer, the press service of the State Agency for Local Government and Interethnic Relations under the Government (SALGIR) of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The delegation met with the villagers, got acquainted with the activities of the historical heroes of the village, their contribution to the socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic. A concert program was organized by Lenin secondary school, illuminating the culture of a polyethnic people, a play based on the works of great writer Aitmatov. They also visited the home of one of the residents of t Ken-Bulun village, got acquainted with the way of life, and the housekeeping of the Dungan family.
The meeting was also attended by deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Abdumazhit Yusurov, the leadership of the SALGIR headed by Bakhtiyar Saliev, Head-Akim of Ysyk-Ata region Kozhomkulov.
