Bishkek, Aug. 24, 2022. / Kabar /. Chinese investors intend to open a bus assembly enterprise in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh, the Mayor’s Office of the city said.
A meeting was held between First Vice Mayor of Osh Mars Isaev and a number of investors from China.
During the meeting the issues of opening a joint venture to assemble buses in Osh and cooperation in the development of joint ventures with local governments were discussed with Liu Guanwei, Sales Director of Foton buses in the CIS countries.
A meeting was also held with Executive Director of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Institute of the Silk Road of Henan University, Lian Jian Zhong, during which the issues of opening a faculty of this university in Osh, cooperation in the development of tourism and agriculture were discussed, report said.
Also, with representative of the South Asian office of the First Group of Chinese Railways, Gai Tsai discussed his proposals for the modernization of the wastewater system, installation of filters in water supply systems.
