Chinese investors ready to implement number of projects in Kyrgyzstan’s Jalal-Abad Oblast

Bishkek, Dec.27, 2024. /Kabar/. Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Jalal-Abad Oblast Tilek Tekebaev held a meeting with investors.

The meeting was attended by a delegation from China led by Deputy Director of “China International Economy - Technical Group of Jiangsu Province” Yuan Gang, where they discussed the implementation of investment projects.

In order to develop the tourism sector of the region, Tilek Tekebaev offered investors a project for the construction of a ropeway on a two-kilometer stretch of “Kichi Sharkyratma-Zhany Bazar” of Arstanbap-Ata village government of Bazar-Korgon region and Kurort microdistrict of Jalal-Abad town.

The meeting also discussed the construction of a cement plant in Tash-Komur town and the launch of projects to produce electricity by processing waste from the Jalal-Abad city dump by 2025-2026.

As a result of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum on mutual cooperation.
