Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2022 / Kabar /. During the recent meeting of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and Chairman Xi Jinping in Beijing, Chinese side expressed readiness to expand cooperation with the Kyrgyz side in the field of healthcare, poverty alleviation, professional education, women and youth, and is ready to create Lu Ban’s workshop in Kyrgyzstan to help the Kyrgyz side train professional and qualified personnel, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen told in an interview with Kabar Agency.
The ambassador to China said that the traditional friendship between China and Kyrgyzstan has its roots in the distant past. Strengthening mutual understanding between our peoples is the common goal of both sides.
“I am sure that China and Kyrgyzstan will use the results of the meeting of the heads of the two states in Beijing to further strengthen the cultural and humanitarian exchange between the two countries, as well as strengthen the social basis of friendly relations between China and Kyrgyzstan,” said the ambassador.
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov visited Beijing on Feb. 3-6. As part of the trip, the head of state attended the official opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The leaders of the countries discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, energy and other fields.
Lu Ban was a Chinese craftsman, engineer, philosopher, inventor, military thinker and statesman. He is revered as the Chinese god (patron) of builders.
