In Brussels, a meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Raşit Meredow was held on the margins of the annual meeting of foreign ministers of Central Asian countries in the format “European Union-Central Asia”, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, topical issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed. The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry congratulated Aidarbekov on his appointment to the high post. The sides noted the need to further strengthen economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as the organization of bilateral visits at the top and high levels.
Minister Aidarbekov invited his counterpart to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan at a convenient time for him.
