Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2023 / Kabar /. The 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation is taking place in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.
The meeting is attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
During today's meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues that were previously reached at the highest level of cooperation. The parties also discussed in detail projects for the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the construction of the Kambar-Ata hydroelectric power station.
The day before, the Uzbek delegation headed by Abdulla Aripov was received by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov.
The Kyrgyz-Uzbek intergovernmental commission was established in 1996.
