Bishkek, July 3, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan’s Chui Oblast, 12 healthcare organizations accept and treat patients with coronavirus infection and community – acquired pneumonia, Gulnura Mambetisayeva, head of Chui Oblast state administration office said during a briefing.
According to her data, 109 beds have been deployed in four hospitals in the oblast for treatment of COVID-19, where 83 patients are hospitalized.
"Also, in order to promptly receive patients, tent stations are deployed at each hospital, where every diseased person can get the first medical aid. In addition, in connection with the outbreak of community – acquired pneumonia, 498 beds have been organized in 8 health organizations. As of July 3, 462 people had been hospitalized," Mambetisayeva said.
She added all medics are provided with personal protective equipment.
"As of July 3, PPE reserves are sufficient for 2-3 months, stocks are replenished continuously. Also, in case of increase in community – acquired pneumonia and coronavirus patients, active work is underway to open additional beds, the issue of equipping them with necessary medical equipment, medical personnel and other conditions is under consideration. It is planned to create 400 additional beds," the official said.
