CIS Council of Foreign Ministers adopt statement on occasion of Aitmatov's 90th birthday

Bishkek, Apr. 7, 2018 / Kabar /. Heads of delegations participating in meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States on April 6, 2018 in Minsk, adopted a Statement on the 90th anniversary of Chyngyz Aitmatov, the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Heads of delegations of the CIS countries, recognizing the contribution of classic of world literature, the diplomat with a capital letter, the intellectual and humanist Chyngyz Aitmatov to the world literature, confirm the readiness of their states to support the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Chyngyz Aitmatov, which are held within the framework of the Year of CIS Culture.
