The forum of finalists of the Gromyko competition of young international affairs specialists will be held in Moscow on 25-26 July, BelTA learned from the organizers.
A total of 506 international affairs experts, civil servants, and analysts submitted their applications to the competition. Fifty-five of them made it to the final. Those were representatives of ten CIS countries, mostly Russia and Belarus. The forum will open at the Institute of Europe on 25 July.
The final of the competition will take place at MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations) of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 26 July. The finalists of the competition will present their vision of the future of the Union State, the Eurasian Economic Union and the CIS.
The organizers of the competition are the Andrei Gromyko Association of Foreign Policy Studies, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Academy of Public Administration under the Aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the support of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Union State Standing Committee. The project is financed by a grant of the CIS Humanitarian Cooperation Council.
