Project of City of Future presented in Bishkek

Bishkek, July 6, 2021. / Kabar /. Ecological clean city of the future - Asman project was presented and discussed in Bishkek at a meeting with the participation of heads of relevant ministries and departments to discuss the development of regions with high tourism and investment potential, which will become a catalyst for the development of the country's economy.

The press service of the Ppresident of Kyrgyzstan said that according to the authors' concept, the city is intended to become an economic and tourist center of the country, which will provide for the introduction of an advanced educational system, the construction of modern health and business centers, stadiums, the placement of high-tech parks, as well as the presence of financial and credit institutions, etc.

According to the project, the construction of a conceptually new city within 4 thousand hectares of area will cost less than the renovation of a functioning one. The industrial infrastructure will be based on high-tech developments of the smart city class with extensive use of alternative energy sources, optimal consumption of resources and resources, environmentally friendly modes of transport, as well as in compliance with the principles of a green economy.

According to the given parameters, the capacity of the infrastructure will be designed for 500 thousand permanent residents. Taking into account the possibilities of exporting services, the reserve potential will reach up to 700 thousand. The approximate implementation period is from 7 to 10 years. The city, which from above will look like a national musical instrument komuz, is planned to be built in Issyk-Kul Oblast.

According to the authors of the project, achieving the goals promises to attract a significant amount of investment in the development of all sectors of the economy, it is expected to create new jobs, as well as create demand for domestic building materials, food, services, etc.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to create a working group to conduct a comprehensive analysis and necessary research on this project, and a number of instructions were given to the heads of ministries and departments on such issues as transforming rainfed land, assessing the cost of relevant engineering networks and communication networks, as well as the degree of profitability for types of industries.
