Bishkek, June 18, 2019. /Kabar/. The Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (CMIF) reimbursed KGS 309.2 million for hemodialysis services in 2018, Elnura Boronbayeva, the CMIF head told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to her data, in 2017 the amount made 189.2 million soms.

"The CMIF has been funding a program of preferential hemodialysis treatment since 2016. In 2018, the Fund has already signed an agreement with 14 private medical centers, where 764 patients received program hemodialysis (489 in 2017, 159 in 2016). The number of patients with this disease increases every year. More preventive measures are needed to reduce the risk of an increase in such diseases," Boronbayeva added.
