CNS Xinjiang Branch jointly with Silk Road newspaper plans to publish book about Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2020 / Kabar/. China News Service Xinjiang Branch jointly with Silk Road, Cultural Development newspaper plan to publish a book about Kyrgyzstan, Li Dehua, the President of CNS Xinjiang Branch told in Urumqi, China on Wednesday during a meeting with Kyrgyz reporters.

He said that the aim of the book is to inform Chinese readers about neighboring country, Kyrgyzstan.

“We plan to release the book in Chinese this year and then probably will translate it into Russian,” he said adding that this is a good idea.

Li Dehua also told reporters about the activities of the CNS Xinjiang Branch. He said that except for writing news and articles, their office is engaged in informing Chinese readers about the situation in Central Asia.

“On the website of the portal Silk Road New Review we publish news about Central Asia. We disseminate the news about Kyrgyzstan in China via social network – Wechat,” he said.

Concerning the cooperation with Kabar News Agency Li Dehua noted that the two agencies in future can organize joint activities, like tours for Kyrgyz journalists to Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast of China to make interviews and to exchange experience.

Journalists from Kyrgyzstan visited office of the CNS in Urumqi as part of the press tour to China organized by China News Service aimed at development of cooperation and exchange of experience between media of countries located on the Belt and Road and getting acquainted with the achievements of the joint construction of the One Belt, One Road initiative.
