Bishkek, June 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . Acting Mayor of Bishkek Baktybek Kudaibergenov met with General Manager at Sheraton Bishkek Aytekin Karayaka and Director of Operations Salih Gunaydin, the press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office said.
The sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of tourism. The guests also noted that due to the opening of the hotel, 200 people have been provided with job opportunities.
In turn, Acting Mayor Baktybek Kudaibergenov expressed willingness to cooperate.
Sheraton Hotels and Resorts is an international semi-luxury hotel chain owned by Marriott International. As of June 30, 2020, Sheraton operates 446 hotels with 155,617 rooms globally, including locations in North America, Africa, Asia Pacific, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean, in addition to 84 hotels with 23,092 rooms in the pipeline.
The hotel opened in Bishkek in September 2019. The total area of the building is 14875 square meters, the hotel building has 22 floors, of which two floors have an underground parking lot for 400 cars.
There are 183 rooms of standard, superior standard, deluxe and royal suite categories available. In addition, a congress hall, a conference hall for 1,000 people, meeting rooms, SPA-center and fitness center, bars and restaurants are located in the hotel.
