Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2024. /Kabar/. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan took part in the World Money Fair in Berlin from February 1 to 4, 2024.
The bank reported that the conference discussed current issues of issuing commemorative collectible coins, the use of the latest technologies in the production of coins, features of the development of the numismatics market, modern coin programs, methods of promoting coins, etc.
The purpose of the National Bank's participation in the World Money Exhibition was to present and popularize the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan through the national currency.
The exposition of the National Bank at the exhibition was represented by banknotes and collectible coins reflecting the historical and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan, issued in such series as “Historical Events”, “Era of the Kyrgyz Kaganate”, “Monuments of the History and Architecture of Kyrgyzstan”, “Works of Chingiz Aitmatov on Coins”, “Kyrgyz customs and rituals”, “National musical instruments”, “National sports and folk games”, “World Nomad Games”, “Red Book of Kyrgyzstan”.
Commemorative coins and banknotes of the national currency have aroused great interest not only among numismatist collectors, but also experts in the field of numismatics, as well as lovers of exclusive products.
