Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2020. /Kabar/. A collection of audio books of all works of great writer and thinker Chyngyz Aitmatov was presented in Bishkek to coincide with his birthday.
The solemn presentation was held today at Kabar News Agency.
According to Director of Channel Five CJSC Ernis Kiyazov, he was pushed to create this collection by advertising on the Internet.
"The collection is released in 5 copies and includes all works by Aitmatov, audio books are also published on YouTube. A representative of the Academy of Aitmatov in the Kyrgyz Republic helped me to create the collection," he said.
In addition, Kiyazov added 1 copy each will be transferred to the Republican Library for the Blind, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan.
Ernis Kiyazov himself performed the role of reader of Aitmatov’s works.
"This collection has not only regional significance, but also international. It will also facilitate access to the works of the thinker to readers with disabilities,” representative of the Academy of Chyngyz Aitmatov in the republic Nurbolot Azamatov added.
In addition, he stressed that previously only 3 books by Aitmatov were translated into Braille.
