Bishkek, Jan. 5, 2021. /Kabar/. Observers of the Common Cause Public Foundation recorded 53 violations of the law in the pre-election period, election adviser of the Foundation Taalai Asylbekov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to him, a preliminary report on the observation of the electoral process in the country has been prepared as of today. In general, the fund has been conducting an observation from Oct. 25 to Dec. 28.
Asylbekov said the violations are divided into three main categories. These are vote buying, use of administrative resources and pressure.
Thus, out of 53 recorded violations, 31 are use of administrative resources, 15 - vote buying, and 7 - pressure.
"Out of 53 facts registered at the head office of the Fund, 14 were submitted to the coordinating group of the CEC's operative regulation. We have not yet received an official response," he said.
In addition, the participants said the observation will also be carried out on election day. 502 are expected to be involved.
Kyrgyzstan’s early presidential elections are set for Jam. 10, 2021,the referendum on the form of the government will take place the same day.
