Bishkek, May 2, 2020. /Kabar/. The Association of Construction and Finishing Materials of Guangdong Province (China) donated personal protective equipment (PPE) to medical personnel in Bishkek, the press service of the Mayor’s Office of the capital reported Saturday.
Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen handed over 10 thousand medical masks, 300 protective goggles, 200 suits, 200 medical caps and 30 contactless infrared thermometers to Deputy Mayor for Social Policy Tatyana Kuznetsova.
PPE will be distributed between the Municipal Health Department and the Center of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.
Also, chairman of this association and "LF" Lan Fan Charity Foundation have transferred KGS 1 million to the special account of the Mayor’s Office to fight against coronavirus.
The funds will be used to provide humanitarian support to mothers with many children through the Social Development Department.
