Competitions in traditional Kyrgyz sports held in Bangladesh

Bishkek, March 28, 2022 . / Kabar /. Dhaka (Bangladesh) hosted on March 23-25 held competitions in traditional Kyrgyz ethnic sports, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Among them were Kyrgyz traditional game Toguz Korgool and mass wrestling. The event was organized by the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association.

The Toguz Korgool and mass wrestling competitions were held in nine separate groups. A total of 210 students from local Alkhaz Mockbul Hossain college took part in the competition.

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Asein Isayev thanked founders and president of the Association for promoting and supporting traditional Kyrgyz ethnic sports in Bangladesh.

"We also look forward to inviting a sports delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in sports events in Bangladesh," Isayev said.
