Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2020. /Kabar/. Compliance with sanitary regulations will be monitored at all precincts of the election commission, Nurzhan Shaildabekova, the chairwoman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendum of the Kyrgyz Republic said during a briefing.
According to her, all polling stations were disinfected and cleaned. An algorithm of actions was developed to ensure sanitary-epidemiological safety and health protection of citizens during the organization and conduct of elections to the Jogorku Kenesh.
"All members of precinct election commissions and voters will be provided with personal protective equipment (masks, gloves). Voters must observe a social distance of 1.5 meters both outside and inside the voting premises," she said.
It is noted that in order to avoid the risk of infection, voting premises will be regularly sanitized.
Parliamentary elections have started today in Kyrgyzstan, 16 political parties run for seats in the Parliament of the country.
