Congratulations from Kazakh leader on Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day

Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2020. /Kabar/. Kazakhstan’s Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan and President Sooronbay Jeenbekov on Independence Day, the Kyrgyz leader’s press service reported Monday.

"As a good neighbor and strategic partner, we highly appreciate Kyrgyzstan's success in nation building. I am convinced that under your wise leadership, Kyrgyzstan will continue its progressive movement on the path of creative development, confidently overcoming all challenges, including the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.

Under difficult conditions of the modern world, further progress in the development of our brotherly peoples largely depends on strengthening the historical ties of friendship and mutual assistance. In this regard, I confirm my principled willingness to continue to promote the expansion of open and productive Kyrgyz-Kazakh political, economic and humanitarian dialogue.

The full realization of the potential of bilateral cooperation will bring practical benefits both to our countries and to the Eurasian integration within the Eurasian Economic Union and regional cooperation in Central Asia," the letter of congratulations says.

The Kazakh leader wished Sooronbay Jeenbekov success in responsible state activities, and prosperity and well-being to the brotherly Kyrgyz people.
