Bishkek, May 9, 2020. /Kabar/. First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
"The immortal feat of our fathers and grandfathers is of everlasting sacred significance. On this bright holiday, we bow our heads low in front of the glorious veterans. We proudly remember the soldiers who bravely died for their Motherland on the fields of blood-stained battles. We pay tribute to the rear workers who worked selflessly on the labor front.
The Great Victory Day is one of the brightest symbols of friendship between our peoples, connecting the past and present of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. I am convinced that in the future we will keep in our hearts the eternal memory of that generation of real heroes, who passed through the crucible of the Great Patriotic War and defeated fascism for the sake of peaceful life of all humanity,” the telegram reads.
Nursultan Nazarbayev conveyed to Kyrgyzstan’s veterans of war and labor his best wishes and warm words of gratitude for their contribution to the Victory, and to the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan - peace and prosperity.
