Congratulations from Turkmen leader on occasion of 75th anniversary of Victory

Bishkek, May 9, 2020. /Kabar/. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow congratulated President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov on the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.

"The Victory Day is the greatest event that embodied the desire of mankind for peace, friendship and brotherhood, for the triumph of humanism and goodness. Celebrating this glorious jubilee date, we with a special sense of gratitude and pride remember our common heroes who showed courage and bravery in the most brutal battles, we pay a deep tribute to the workers of the home front, who were forging the Great Victory for the sake of peaceful life of future generations. Their unparalleled feat will not fade away forever and will forever remain in our memory.

I am convinced that the glorious traditions of friendship and mutual understanding between our peoples, which passed the harsh tests of the war years, will continue to serve as a firm foundation for further development and strengthening of comprehensive cooperation and multifaceted interaction between our countries.

On this remarkable day, I sincerely wish you and all the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of your country strong health, happiness and long life, and peace, prosperity and well-being to the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan,” the Turkmen leader’s message says.
