Bishkek, Aug. 4, 2020 /Kabar/. Construction of a 90-bed hospital has begun in Batken Oblast, Governor Alisher Abdrakhmanov told during a briefing Tuesday.
According to his data, the old building of the Oblast Family Medicine Center in Batken town will undergo major repairs for conversion to an infectious disease hospital.
"The Government has allocated more than KGS 12 million for the hospital's construction. At present, work is already underway, and the construction is scheduled to be completed within a month," the governor added.
