Bishkek, May 20, 2020 / Kabar/. There are no problems with financing an alternative north-south road, Minister of Transport and Roads Zhanat Beishenov told at a meeting of the Kyrgyz parliament.
He said that the work is currently being carried out in sections.
“The only thing we are talking about working at the tunnel and bridges is with China Road. The fact is that right now they cannot bring their workers, 450-500 people. They left for the new year and cannot return. In May, we think we will solve this issue,” he said.
The project cost is estimated at USD 850 million, the implementation of which will take place in 3 stages.
