Bishkek, Dec. 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Construction of city of the future Asman in Issyk-Kul Oblast will start in March 2022, deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Ravshan Sabirov told reporters.
The MP added that the project of the city of the future is now in its final stages.
"Our representatives held meetings in France to discuss the construction of the city. They even signed documents. I think the first funds will be invested in March 2022 and the construction will start," he said.
The construction of a conceptually new city within 4 thousand hectares of area will cost less than the renovation of a functioning one. The industrial infrastructure will be based on high-tech developments of the smart city class with extensive use of alternative energy sources, optimal consumption of resources and resources, environmentally friendly modes of transport, as well as in compliance with the principles of a green economy.
According to the given parameters, the capacity of the infrastructure will be designed for 500 thousand permanent residents. Taking into account the possibilities of exporting services, the reserve potential will reach up to 700 thousand. The approximate implementation period is from 7 to 10 years. The city, which from above will look like a national musical instrument komuz, is planned to be built in Issyk-Kul Oblast.
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov signed a decree on the creation of the State Directorate for the construction of the environmentally friendly city of Asman.
