Osh, April 27, 2022 . /Kabar/. The construction of a plant for the production of bitumen began on 3 hectares of land in Kyrgyzstan’s Jalal-Abad Oblast.
For the construction of a new plant investors from Qatar will spend $5 million. After operation, the plant will produce 20 thousand tons of bitumen per year, which will fully meet the needs of Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, Kyrgyzstan imports bitumen from Russia.
