Bishkek, June 19, 2024. / Kabar/. The implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project will become one of the major projects in the economy of Kyrgyzstan, member of Kyrgyz Parliament Emil Toktoshev told Kabar Agency.
According to him, the project, which has been discussed for a long time and has only now come to the implementation stage, will become a railway line that connects Asia with the countries of the Persian Gulf and Europe.
“It will become a major project in the country’s economy, which opens the door for domestic products to enter new markets. Many countries noted the importance of this project,” the deputy said.
It should be noted that today deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh considered and adopted the bill “On the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the joint promotion of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project, signed on June 6, 2024 in Beijing” in three readings.
