Construction of school with funding from Azerbaijan starts in Bishkek

Bishkek, Dec.24, 2019. /Kabar/. The construction of a new secondary school in Kok-Jar, one of the densely populated residential areas, has begun in Bishkek.

The capsule in the foundation of the school building was laid by citizens, teachers, Bishkek Mayor Aziz Surakmatov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan Hidayat Orujov, deputy of the Bishkek City Council Daniyar Imanaliyev, as well as Deputy Mayor of the capital Ulanbek Azygaliyev.

Note that the initiative to build the school in Kok-Jar belongs to Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

The land plot in Kok-Jar neighborhood has been given to the Azerbaijani side for temporary use for the period of designing and construction of the school within the Memorandum of Cooperation, signed this spring.

The new school with the area of 2031 square meters is designed for 550 pupils.

In addition to classrooms, the school has a large auditorium and sports hall, canteen, library, extracurricular activities rooms and a medical unit.

Gymnastics, sports games, recreation areas and a parking lot for parents and teachers are provided on the school premises.

Construction of the object will be carried out at the expense of Azerbaijan.
