Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2022 . / Kabar /. The construction of the Bishkek ice arena will begin in the Kyrgyz capital, Deputy Director of the Physical Culture and Sports Department of Kyrgyzstan Samat Toktonaliev told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that the solemn ceremony of laying a capsule for the construction will be held during the 2022 IHF World Championship Division IV.
"Full information about the location of the ceremony and the participants will be provided additionally," Toktonaliev said.
Kyrgyzstan has three indoor ice rinks, two of which are in Bishkek and one in Naryn. In turn, only one of them meets international standards.
