Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. Construction of a modern checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is being completed, the press service of Osh Oblast state administration said Tuesday.
Osh Oblast Governor Zharasul Abduraimov familiarized himself with the new building of the Kara-Myk checkpoint.
The estimated cost of the project was KGS 181 million.
The checkpoint performs border, customs, veterinary and phytosanitary control. The infrastructure of the checkpoint was brought in line with requirements of EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union).
