Construction of new school in Kyrgyzstan’s Batken 90% completed

Bishkek, July 7, 2022. /Kabar/. Construction of a new school in Batken town in Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast is on schedule and 90% ready, the press service of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan reported Thursday.

The facility will be commissioned soon. Currently, a contractor is completing the work on the exterior decoration and landscaping. In addition, the installation of the necessary equipment and furniture for the educational process has begun.

The school is designed for 375 students, which will provide education for up to 700 students in the community. According to the project, an academic building, a gymnasium with a gallery, a canteen, an assembly hall, as well as equipped classrooms, chemistry, physics and ITT were erected.

The construction of the school was started in 2020, its estimated cost was USD 1 million 263 thousand 566, financed by loans from the Saudi Development Fund.
