Bishkek, Dec. 13, 2024. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan Maksat Mamytkanov made a working visit to the Agdam region of Azerbaijan on December 12.
The Kyrgyz diplomatic mission reported that during his visit to the village of Khydyrly, the ambassador got acquainted with the final stage of construction of a comprehensive school, which is a gift from Kyrgyzstan to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
The completion of construction is expected by the end of January 2025. During the trip, the ambassador also met with the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan for the Agdam region Emin Huseynov.
The sides discussed prospects for further cooperation, including the implementation of cultural, humanitarian, educational and tourism projects aimed at developing and strengthening friendship between the two countries.
On the same day, the ambassador visited the Kalbajar district, where he visited a farm where yaks donated by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov are kept. Today, the number of yaks has increased to 205 heads.
