Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2021 . / Kabar /. A special town will be built in Chong-Alay region of Osh Oblast for the Pamir Kyrgyz, Minister Labor, Social Welfare and Migration Kudaibergen Bazarbaev said Wednesday at a meeting with Pamir Kyrgyz living in Taldy-Suu village of Alai region.
He added that President Sadyr Zhaparov allocated a plot in the Kashka-Suu village of Chong-Alay region and laid a capsule for the construction of a special town for resettling the ethnic Kyrgyz who stayed in the Pamirs. Now the work is continuing.
"This year KGS 10 million were allocated from the budget of the Labor Ministry to Chong-Alay region, the work on the transformation of 70 hectares of land, drawing up a master plan of the village, engineering and architectural planning were completed. Construction works will start next year. This activity is included in the National Program of Strategic Development of the Cabinet of Ministers until 2026,” Bazarbaev noted.
During the working trip of Minister of Labor Kudaibergen Bazarbaev to Alai region, the Pamir Kyrgyz received humanitarian aid in the form of food and winter clothes.
