Bishkek, April 27, 2023. / Kabar /. It is planned to start construction of a waste processing plant in Bishkek in October this year. The plant will process up to 60% of incoming municipal solid waste (MSW). Director of the Bishkek Development Agency Kurmanbek Moldokulov told during a press conference at Kabar Agency.
The Czech company HDT Impex undertook the implementation of a large-scale project for the construction of a waste processing plant in Bishkek. It plans to be engaged not only in construction, but also act as an operator and conduct a whole anti-garbage campaign in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Owner and head of HDT Impex Yaroslav Vebr added that a feasibility study is currently being developed, however, according to the road map, the laying of a capsule at the plant construction site is scheduled for October this year. The object should be built in two years near the landfill.
Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Kyrgyzstan Marat Dzhaanbaev added, the Czech company will also act as an operator, that is, it will be engaged not only in construction, but will also put out a fire at a landfill.
Dzhaanbaev said that the plant will be built according to all modern standards. The plant is supposed to create a receiving department and a sorting department.
