Bishkek, July 29, 2024 . / Kabar / . The opening ceremony of the honorary consulate of Kyrgyzstan took place in the Japanese city of Yaizu, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The consular district includes the prefectures of Aichi, Fukui, Gifu, Ishikawa, Nagano, Shizuoka, Toyama, Yamanashi and Niigata prefectures of the Chubu region.
The honorary consulate is headed by Yotsukhashi Michinori.
The opening was attended by Kyrgyz Ambassador to Japan Erkinbek Osoyev and representatives of Japanese business circles.
During the event, the ambassador congratulated Yotsukhaschi and noted the special significance of the work of the Honorary Consulate for strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries, expanding economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as providing comprehensive support to compatriots living in the region of Tyubu.
Within the framework of the event, Erkinbek Osoyev and Yotsukhashi Michinori met with Mayor of Yaizu City Hiromichi Nakano.
In the course of the meeting, the Kyrgyz ambassador emphasized the desire to deepen partnership in the field of education and science, innovation and tourism, strengthening of business and cultural ties and development of economic diplomacy.
Mayor Nakano informed about the readiness of close cooperation and implementation of joint projects for the development of cooperation in the field of human resources and in general, bilateral relations.
