In January-September of this year (compared to December of the previous year), the growth of consumer prices and tariffs in the country as a whole amounted to 3.4%, Nazira Kerimalieva, the Deputy Chairwoman of the National Statistics Committee said during a briefing.
She noted that meanwhile, prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 9.2%, non-food products - by 2.9%, food products and non-alcoholic beverages - by 1.4%, tariffs for services provided to the population - by 7%.
“Increase in consumer prices and tariffs in January-September of this year (compared to December of the previous year) was observed in all regions of the country, except for Jalal-Abad Oblast, where a decrease of 0.1% was recorded. In addition, the maximum increase in prices by 4.5% was recorded in Issyk-Kul Oblast,” the specialist added.
