Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of 10:00 a.m. on Dec. 20, moderate content of particulate matter PM 2.5 is observed in the air in Bishkek, the Agency for Hydrometeorology under the State Committee on Ecology and Climate of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
The press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office reported that according to the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO), the average annual level of PM-2.5 should be 160 µg/m3, and the average daily level should not exceed 35 µg/m3.
"Thus, today in some districts of Bishkek the amount of particles does not exceed 32 μg\m3," the report said.
The Mayor's Office of the capital on a daily basis will provide statistical data on air pollution.
