Osh, Feb. 21, 2019. / Kabar /. On Feb. 20, Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov met with Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic Alok Amitabh Dimri.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the framework of programs implemented by the Embassy of India in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The mayor invited the guest to participate in the celebrations planned in Osh as part of the Osh - Cultural Center of the Turkic World 2019 Program, which will be held in April of this year and noted that the city of Osh is always open to friendly relations and ready to cooperate in various fields.
In turn, Alok Amitabh Dimri spoke about the Indian program of technical and economic cooperation for the exchange of experience, which is implemented in Kyrgyzstan, and invited young and promising Osh residents to take an active part in it.
The newly appointed Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic was also received by Osh governor Uzarbek Zhylkybayev. During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation in tourism, medicine, investment and IT-technologies.
Following the talks, the sides agreed to hold a week of India in Osh oblast, on cooperation under the ITEC program for training local specialists in the field of medicine, IT-technologies, government and management.
